“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father.” – Matthew 10:29
Even the most ordinary, numerous, and least valuable things on earth are under the meticulous, watchful eye of God the Father! He’s watching every sparrow and is aware of everything that happens to each of them. God knows all and He sees all, because He’s present in all places at all times. Let this be a great encouragement to you.
If God is carefully watching the sparrows, you better believe that He’s carefully watching over the crown jewel of His creation, which is you! God knows and cares about every small detail of your life. There’s nothing that could trouble you that God isn’t interested in and aware of. Let this set you free in your prayer life! There’s nothing you need to try to hide or hold back from Him. There’s no need to pretend or put on a happy face when you’re sad.
Instead, God invites you to take every concern, every heartbreak, every setback, every fear, every anxiety, and every failure to Him in prayer. He IS listening. He DOES care. He loves you very much. He may well let your circumstances unfold as they are for your growth and equipping. But He’s always with you if Christ is your Lord. He’s always listening with favor. He wants to hear from you.
Trust the words of Philippians 4:6-7, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, that surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
